2014, Ponsel Akan Melebihi Jumlah Manusia

Penggunaan telepon seluler akan melebihi jumlah penduduk dunia pada akhir tahun depan, demikian laporan badan PBB sebagaimana ditulis dalam situs NDTV, Senin 13 Maret 2013.
Menurut prediksi International Telecoms Union, ponsel akan menembus angka tujuh miliar pada awal tahun 2014. Saat ini ada 6,8 miliar ponsel langganan sementara jumlah penduduk yang ada sekitar 7,1 miliar, lapor BBC News.
Berdasarkan laporan ITU World tahun 2013 ditemukan 2,7 miliar orang, hampir 40 persen dari populasi dunia berselancar di dunia maya. Laporan The Commonwealth of Independent States mengatakan aliansi negara-negara sebelumnya di Uni Soviet diyakini memiliki penetrasi paling tinggi dengan 1,7 langganan untuk setiap orang. Afrika sedikitnya memiliki 63 jumlah langganan dari 100 penduduk yang ada.
"Setiap hari kita bergerak semakin dekat melihat jumlah ponsel langganan yang terus bertambah sama banyaknya dengan jumlah penduduk di bumi," ungkap Brahima Sanou, direktur Biro Pengembangan Telekomunikasi ITU.
Eropa memiliki penetrasi tertinggi sebesar 75 persen dalam penggunaan ponsel diikuti oleh Amerika 61 persen. Asia memiliki 32 persen dari populasi onlinenya, sementara Afrika berada di tingkat 16 persen.

Google Akan Luncurkan Pusat Game Android

Pengguna ponsel pintar berulang kali mengunduh berbagai aplikasi. Dari berbagai aplikasi yang diunduh, delapan dari sepuluh orang lebih banyak mengunduh aplikasi game.

Terkait hal ini, Apple Game Center telah merilis game hampir 2,5 tahun lalu. Hal itu cukup mengherankan karena Google belum juga meluncurkan Game Center untuk Android.

Kebijakan Android memisahkan APK (file paket aplikasi Android) untuk aplikasi "Layanan Permainan." Aplikasi Layanan Permainan berfungsi memperbarui tiap aplikasi. Selain itu, aplikasi tersebut mengungkap informasi bahwa Google dalam masa peluncuran pusat game untuk Android.

Sementara belum jelas seperti apa tepatnya fitur yang akan diluncurkan nanti. Berikut perkiraan fitur game yang akan dirilis:
